WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?

This course is designed for everyone interested in editing, or for those completely unfamiliar with the software.  Participants might be film editors, online editors, freelance editors, staff editors, multimedia producers, or anyone involved in the video and film production process.

WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?

This course is designed to teach you the core skills for editing with Avid Media Composer, and introduce you to the fundamental concepts and workflow of editing.

Since its release over 20 years ago, Media Composer has been used to cut more films, more prime time TV shows, more sitcoms, ad more music videos than any other editing application on the market.  And this is still true today.

In this course, you will use the Avid system to input and organize source footage, edit sync and non-sync material, trim, sequence, adjust audio, create titles, and output work.  The final product will be a finished program.
